This is a ZERO TOLERANCE tournament. Abuse of any kind, verbal, physical, or otherwise, will not be tolerated. Any team, coach, player, parent, or spectator who violates the ALA Code of Conduct may be removed from the tournament.
The safety of players, coaches, officials, volunteers, facility staff, and spectators is our highest priority.
Children must be supervised at all times. Unattended children and their families may be asked to leave the facility.
The goal of this tournament is to provide a fun, developmental environment for players, coaches, and officials.
This is a B-level parity tournament. A-level teams are not permitted. Lacrosse development begins with enjoyment, teamwork, and respect.
Over-age players are not permitted unless approved by the ALA Director of Development.
Teams using an unapproved over-age player will be fined $750, the player will be removed, and the team may face expulsion.
Oversized roster approvals must be submitted to the Tournament Coordinator before the event.
Final rosters, including possible affiliates must be submitted 72 hours prior to the start of the tournament.
Only players listed on the submitted roster may participate.
Any ineligible player will be removed, and the team may face further discipline.
APs must come from the same club and from a lower division or lower-tiered team in the same age division.
APs must prioritize their own team’s games.
Teams violating AP rules (both the AP and the receiving team) will have points removed and may face ejections.
Out-of-province players may not AP onto ALA teams.
Out-of-province teams must submit a valid travel permit one week prior to their first game.
As per ALA Regulations, only one Head Coach, up to three Assistant Coaches, and one Trainer is permitted on the bench
All coaches must meet LC minimum coaching standards and Trainer must have required first aid certification.
Any team found in violation of ALA or LC regulations will lose game points and may face removal from the tournament.
Teams must supply their own first aid materials (ice, bandages, tape, etc.).
Home team provides four game balls.
Each team provides its own warm-up balls.
Home team selects jersey colour and occupies the home bench.
If there is a colour conflict, the home team has the option to change.
As a courtesy, if the home team has only one set of jerseys and the visiting team has two, the visiting team should change.
All on-floor officials will be assigned by the SALA OIC.
Home team supplies:
1 game sheet official
1 shot-clock operator
1 penalty box attendant
Away team supplies:
1 timekeeper
1 penalty box attendant
All officials’ decisions are final.
Automatic suspensions cannot be appealed.
All match, game, or gross misconducts will be reviewed by the LAX To The MAX Discipline & Appeals Committee.
Committee decisions are final.
Suspensions must be served in the next scheduled game(s).
Teams playing a suspended player will forfeit all points earned in that game and will recieve additional sanctions.
Fighting majors will be reviewed and may result in removal from the tournament.
Abuse of officials will result in ejection of individuals or teams and forfeiture of game points.
Teams may enter dressing rooms no earlier than 30 minutes before game time.
Dressing rooms must be left clean after each game.
The Head Coach is responsible for supervising the room and any damages caused by the team.
Bags must be removed between games.
Teams are responsible for any damage to the facility and may be removed from the tournament without refund.

Delay of Game:
Teams not ready to start may be assessed a delay-of-game penalty and lose 1 point. If both teams are late, both lose 1 point.
One sudden-victory overtime period will be played (length per LC Age & Stage Modifications).
If still tied, a shootout will occur:
Teams alternate penalty shots.
Home team chooses to shoot first or last.
Shootout continues until one team scores and the other does not.
Each player (except goalies and injured/penalized players) must shoot once before any player repeats.

U9, U11, U13: Last 2 minutes of the 3rd period are stop time.
Run Time: Clock runs continuously except for timeouts or goalie water breaks.
Stop Time: Clock stops for goals, penalties, and timeouts (except during 6-goal differential rule).
Officials may stop the clock at their discretion.
U9 uses the Fall Back Rule.
Music must be radio-appropriate.
There is no drop clock in this tournament.
If a team leads by 6 or more goals at any point in the game, the clock switches to run time at the next whistle.
If the lead shrinks to 4 goals, the clock returns to stop time.
If teams are tied in standings:
Head-to-head points determine the higher seed.
If still tied, apply the Goal Average Formula (below).
If one team has defeated all others in the tie group, that team advances.
Otherwise, apply the Goal Average Formula using only games played among tied teams.
If still tied, apply the formula using all games.
If still tied, the team with the fewest penalty minutes advances.
Goal Average= Goals For / Goals For + Goals Against
Highest ratio advances.
Drill-powered and manual crank air horns and any other mechanical noisemakers are prohibited. Only human driven air horns or noisemakers are allowed. Anyone who violates this rule will be asked to leave the facility, and the team they are associated with may forfeit points.
